The presidents of Samsung and Apple will meet tomorrow to discuss a possible end to the legal disputes

Tomorrow, the presidents of Apple and Samsung, Tim Cook and Domo Gee-Sung Choi, will meet in a mandatory mediation decided by an American court. During this mediation, the two presidents will discuss the lawsuits they opened in the US courts, but also how they could reach an agreement to drop them. The mediation will take place over two days, the two presidents having to meet in the city of San Francisco, where Apple usually launches its most important products.

Samsung and Apple have opened no less than 47 lawsuits worldwide and these discussions could help the two companies to give up on them. Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S III, a terminal that, from the point of view of design, is far from what Apple's iPhone offers, and I think that here the first steps were taken towards a possible reconciliation of the two partners. No one knows what result these discussions will have, but this week we should find out if Apple and Samsung will give up their disputes or not.
