During this night, Pod2G announced that it managed to make the iPad 3 CDMA tablet compatible with its new untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1.1. The news comes a few days after the hacker announced that this tablet should theoretically be vulnerable, and this has finally come true. For now, only the iPad 2 2012 Wi-Fi Only is the only iDevice incompatible with the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1.1, and that's because Pod2G didn't manage to get hold of such a device to test everything.
It is speculated that tomorrow the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1.1 will be officially released, but for now we only know that tomorrow Pod2G and members of the Dev Team/Chronic Dev Team will hold a conference at HITB and discuss the future of jailbreak.
