Along with the new versions of redan0w and Pwnagetool, the Dev Team has also released a new version of redsn0w that aims to bring compatibility with iOS 5.1.1. The new version of the software is only compatible with old basebands, so no new basebands have been added, so don't expect to be able to decode any basebands from iOS 5.x as this will not happen with ultrasn0w. Basically this version eliminates the need to use ultrasn0w fixer and if you have already installed it, it would be advisable to uninstall it and install the latest version of ultrasn0w.
Ultrasn0w 1.2.7 is available for free in Cydia and works on any version of iOS.
