I told you today that a Russian managed to develop a tweak that activates the Flyover and turn-by-turn navigation functions on the iPhone 4 terminal with iOS 6 installed. These functions allow you to use the 3D module and the voice guidance function of the Maps application from iOS 6, although Apple claims that these components cannot run on the iPhone 4. Of course, Apple has been contradicted in the past in similar cases, and now with the help of 3DEnabler you can do the same and enable both functions on your devices.

To do this, you still have to give up the functionality of iOS because the current jailbreak solution breaks certain native iOS 6 applications, so you have to think carefully if you want to install this tweak. If the decision has been made and you are ready to install, then the steps below they will help you do everything you need.

1. Download the tweak available here. Download the latest version of mosub available here.

2. Jailbreak on iOS 6 of your iPhone 4 terminal using this tutorial.

3. Use ifunbox, or another utility, to copy both deb files into a folder that you can navigate to using command lines.

4. Using WinSCP, or another utility, connect via SSH to your iDevice and enter the password Alpine to have administrator access.

5. After logging in as an administrator, navigate to the folder where you copied the .deb files and run the command dpkg -i filename.deb. First install mosubs and reset the device, then repeat the procedure to install the 3Denabler tweak.

After installation, reset the device, restart it using the Just boot option of redsn0w and when you open the Maps application of iOS 6 you should have the 3D module active together with the turn-by-turn navigation function.

UPDATE: It seems that the tweak will also work on the iPhone 3GS.
