In iOS 6, Apple introduced the Passbook application, a kind of diary in which you can save transport tickets, concert tickets, movies/etc, discount coupons, gift vouchers and any other kind of things like this. Unfortunately, the application is mostly useful only in the USA because in Romania you have nothing to use it because our stores are not able to offer you such content or to read it. Even so, with the help of a website you can activate the Passbook application from iOS 6 (which is inactive until you add a "pass") by adding any kind of elements that it accepts.
By following the steps below you can add a pass like the one in the images above, or you can add any of the elements I mentioned at the beginning of the article.
- Access this website and choose from there the type of "pass" you want to add to the application.
- Fill in the fields that interest you and finally press the Create button.
- After pressing the Create button, a new page will open in your browser, and you will have the pass displayed in it. Press the Add button on the top right and you will automatically add it to the Passbook application.
After adding the pass, you will see it in Passbook, where you can edit it, but it will be completely useless.
