Orange Explorer - brings the artist in you to life in the metro stations of Bucharest

Augmented reality is starting to become more and more used by companies that want to offer smartphone owners interesting ways to use their own devices. In December I told you that Orange allows you to write messages in the sky with the help of augmented reality, and now Orange will give you the opportunity to "color" the Bucharest metro using the same technology. BY A contest run by Orange you have the opportunity to view the artistic creations of several of the Bucharest subway the most famous Romanian graffers.

In 8 subway stations in Bucharest, plus the Grigore Antipa museum, the people from Orange have installed giant panels that contain markers showing the graffiti that, in part, you can see in the images of this article. To view these graffiti you must to download the Orange Explorer application from the App Store, to open it, to choose the option Graffiti if you are in a metro station or the option Grigore Antipa Museum if you are there, press the button scans and point the camera towards the black square to see the graffiti. The application lists all the subway stations where you find the graffiti and when you scan each one you have the opportunity to see a movie with the making of the creation, you have the opportunity to take a picture of that graffiti and of course you have the opportunity to share that picture on the more important social networks. The people from Orange have built a very beautiful story around these graffiti and I'll let you discover it, starting right here with the markers below and continuing in the Bucharest subway.

If you are an amateur/professional grapher or a simple art lover, then Orange has a contest for you in which you will have the opportunity to publish your creation in the subway stations in Bucharest. All you have to do is to access this page, to upload your creation on the website and wait until a jury of 10 Romanian graffers will choose the 2 creations that will be published weekly in the Bucharest metro. There are 4 weeks of the contest, your creation can be displayed for a week inside some subway stations, so I recommend you to register.

If you just want to see the creations, then download the Orange Explorer application from the App Store and explore the story built by Orange in the Bucharest subway
