Gamedock - turn your iDevice into a console (Video)

Directly from the kickstarter, today I have for you the project of an interesting device for your iDevices called Gamedock. With the help of this project, you can turn your iDevice into a console that you can easily connect to a TV and play certain games. Basically, I'm talking about a software that runs on your iDevices and allows you to run certain games, but also about a series of gamepads that connect to your iDevices and allow you to control those games.

Have you ever played a great retro game on your iPhone, only to be frustrated with the touch controls? Or have you wanted to play an awesome iPad game with a friend, but two people holding one tablet just doesn't feel right? With the GameDock for iOS you can play classic games the way they were meant to be played: with two controllers and a TV. Just plug the dock into your TV like a video game console and your iOS device into the dock like a game cartridge. The GameDock is designed to be compatible with existing iCade games and for dock-ready games that include two-player support and full 1080p HDTV output.

Using the HDMI Mirroring system you can transfer the images from the screen of your iDevice to that of a TV and the Gamedock seems to be an excellent device for gamers. In theory, this statement is true, but the big problem lies in the fact that this ecosystem designed by the developers of the project requires the porting of games and that's where everything stops. Unfortunately very few games will be available for Gamedock and basically everything is useless, unfortunately. Gamedock is available here on the kickstarter website and there you can donate money if you support the project.
