Iran is full of Apple products, although the company refuses to sell them there or to Iranians in the US

I already told you that Apple doesn't really love Iran and refuses to sell its products to the citizens of this country, but even so it seems that in Iran there are enough stores that sell Apple products without problems. Despite a ban on importing electronic products into Iran, there are quite a few shops there, like the one pictured above, who sell without problems the newest products of the company from Cupertino. Although Apple does not officially sell there, it seems that the stores have quite a lot of customers and not only from ordinary citizens, but also from television stations or state institutions.

At its gleaming store, RadanMac offers the latest Apple gear – the new iPad, iPhones, iPods, laptops, all-in-one desktop computers and more. But this is no ordinary Apple store. It's in Tehran, where Apple and other US computer products are banned under US sanctions that have been in place for years. Despite the embargo, RadanMac is one of an estimated 100 stores in the Iranian capital that openly sell Apple products, often at little more than US prices. "Business has been booming for the last three years," said Majid Tavassoli, the store's owner, in a phone interview. He said his company employs more than 20 staffers and has been supplying Apple products to Iranian buyers since 1995.

Apple only aims to respect the policy of the American government in the idea of making some friends in Washington, but in reality it seems that its products arrive in Iran through more or less legal channels and I think that unofficially Apple offers support to those there.
