Tweaks in Cydia give you the impression that your iDevice is faster, but the impact falls on autonomy

Yesterday we introduced you a tweak called ClockWind which promises to give you the feeling that your iDevice is faster by reducing the time period in which the animations are run in iOS. More precisely, the tweak displays all iOS notifications faster than normal, giving you the feeling that the iDevice moves faster and responds more easily to commands. Apple could do the exact same thing with its terminals to give the feeling that they are extremely fast, but it didn't and it probably had a very good reason when it made this decision.

Tweaks like ClockWind are good, but the reality is that they have a pretty big impact on battery life, an impact you don't feel immediately, but over time. You will say that it is not true, that I am lying, but unfortunately the reality is that any tweaks of this kind decrease the battery autonomy and I am not the only one who says it, the majority of those who have installed and use them say it. The tweaks that make your iDevices seem faster are useful, but keep in mind that the autonomy is the one that suffers.
