iPhone 5, the 19-pin connector port and the benefit to users

Yesterday those from Reuters have confirmed that the new iPhone 5 terminal will have a 19-pin connector port, which I already knew for several weeks. Ever since then, many people have been "angry" at Apple because of these changes, considering that its implementation is not necessary and would generate additional costs for all those who purchased accessories for iDevices. I found out in the meantime that Apple will also release an adapter which will make part of accessories compatible with the new connector port of iPhone 5, but of course many people will remain just as upset because all cases with external batteries will become unusable, even with this adapter.

Well, this "upset" has no point because we are finally seeing an evolution for the better of iDevices, Apple renouncing its own standard regarding the connector port and implementing a new one, certainly better. The implementation of this new port in all iDevices will generate a design change, probably make the terminals thinner, maybe allow the use of other accessories and probably bring us other benefits that Apple will detail in the fall. Basically, we are talking about a necessary change, a normal evolution, the evolution that Apple made to Macs when it gave up Floppy Disk or optical drives.

For Apple such an evolution is logical and necessary, for us it is annoying, but in the end the benefits will make us forget that we are going through an important change and we will embrace it. Every manufacturer on the market makes changes like this, and they are not intended to deceive consumers, but to improve the products, and Apple very rarely makes such important changes to its iDevices.
