3 months without an iOS update, 2 months of Absinthe and Apple's relaxed attitude

On May 7, 2012 Apple launched iOS 5.1.1, the iOS version officially available through iTunes, the iOS version that can be exploited by Absinthe 2.0 for more than 2 months. In this period, those from Apple directed their attention to the new iOS 6 and they completely forgot about the official iOS that is available in our iDevices. Apple usually rushes and quickly blocks jailbreak solutions, but in this case Absinthe 2.0 we have an unexpected surprise because Apple seems not to pay much attention to it, although this method makes untethered jailbreak for any iDevice.

The attitude of those from Apple is not new because last year things were exactly the same and I do not expect that until the release of iOS 6 Apple will release iOS 5.1.2 or 5.2 because it has no serious reasons to do so. The existence of Absinthe only helps it to sell more iDevices in a period when sales are falling and important exploits of iOS do not make the rounds of international press agencies, so iOS 5.1.1 will make the transition to iOS 6 in the autumn.
