Replacing a MacBook Pro Retina battery costs about $500 plus a laptop teardown guide

The ones from iFixIt they published a guide today which helps MacBook Pro Retina Display owners to disassemble their Mac safely, the service presenting the methods by which various internal components can be changed. One of the most important is the battery and iFixiIt claims that replacing it can cost up to $500 or more if done correctly. This "correct" method of changing the battery involves changing the cover of the Mac and don't think that if you have problems, a service will opt for a cheaper replacement.

MacBook Pro Retina Display is the most difficult laptop to repair, it has very expensive components and this story proves that its acquisition represents a risk.
