MacBook Pro Retina Display with 13-inch screen appears in a new benchmark

At WWDC 2012 Apple launched MacBook Pro Retina Display with a 15-inch screen, but did not choose to offer users a version with a 13-inch screen of this product. Although Apple has not officially announced that it will release such a version of the MacBook Pro, on the Internet the results appeared a benchmark made on what appears to be an unreleased version of the Pro with a 13-inch Retina Display. The product carries the identifier MacBookPro10,2, which is considered to be the one for the MacBook Pro Retina with a 13-inch screen, and this is because the MacBook Pro Retina with a 15-inch screen has the identifier MacBookPro10,1.

However, this identifier is not the only indication that the product belongs to a MacBook Pro Retina with a 13-inch screen, because the Intel i7 processor of 2.9 GHz, the 8 GB of RAM, the identification code of the motherboard and the fact that it runs the OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 represents quite convincing evidence. Of course, this information can be falsified, but not completely, so it seems that Apple is testing a MacBook Pro Retina with a 13-inch screen, but it is not known if it will ever reach the market.
