Will Apple implement the option to inductively charge iDevices in the MacBook Air?

A few months ago I told you that Intel's new ultrabooks have the ability to inductively charge certain smartphones. This technology will be brought to the whole world through a partnership between Intel and a few specially selected partners, again some speculate that Apple will implement this function in MacBook Air 2013. Although Intel will offer manufacturers the opportunity to implement induction charging technology directly in ultrabooks/laptops, the chances of Apple taking it up are small.

Why am I saying this? Because such important technologies are not implemented by Apple if they are also implemented by other manufacturers. Apple has a habit of implementing important technologies in its own way, and for inductive charging the company already has enough registered patents and I don't think that a partnership with Intel is what Apple is looking for now. If the technology had been launched directly last year and exclusively with Apple, then the rumor would be credible, but in the current situation there is little chance that MacBooks will charge our iDevices by induction.
