Apple implements time shifted multiplayer for Game Center

In the the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 presentation conference Apple called two EA Games representatives to present the game Real Racing 3 specially built for the performance of the new iPhone. On the stage of the conference, the representative of EA Games presented the game, but also an interesting function called time shifted multiplayer which is available for Game Center. This new feature allows you to challenge a user to race against you in Real Racing 3, but you don't have to play both at the same time, the races can be recorded, and when the opponent has time to race, your car will be represented there running the recording of the laps made by you.

The even more interesting part is that although in the game your car runs based on the recording made when you play, the opponent can affect the laps made on the track, thus changing the final result of the race. Real Racing 3 is the first game in which this technology will be implemented, but after the official release of iOS 6, other manufacturers will have the opportunity to implement this function or another similar one for their own games.
