Apple was surprised by the large number of pre-orders placed for the iPhone 5

iPhone 5, disappointing terminala that few want, is ready to set a new sales record for Apple, the first batch of units put up for sale being pre-ordered 20 times faster than in the case of iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. The number of people who have placed a pre-order for iPhone 5 appears to be very large, an Apple spokesperson saying a few years ago, the company was amazed by the positive response received from such a large number of customers. Of course, no figures were provided regarding the number of pre-ordered terminals, but after the launch weekend, Apple should officially announce how many terminals it sold.

Preorders for iPhone 5 have been incredible, Apple spokeswoman Nat Kerris told AllThingsD. We've been completely blown away by the customer response.

At the moment, any order placed for the iPhone 5 is delivered in 2-3 weeks, a shorter period of time than in other years, but now Apple has more partners that produce more units of the iPhone 5 every day.
