Apple claims that the problem of the Maps application in iOS 6 is generated by it and promises to invest significant resources to solve it

We all found out yesterday the reason on the basis of which Apple gave up Google Maps, I found out that a version of the application will be released in the App Store by the end of this year, and now we find out that an Apple manager claims that his company takes full responsibility for the problems with the Maps application. It was pretty hard to believe that Apple could blame anyone else for its app problems, it didn't, and the manager promised to invest significant resources of time, and most likely money, to fix it. broken application.

Apple acknowledges the stumble. "We own this; we manage the vendors. This is no one's issue but ours," an Apple executive told me. And it vows to pour as much time and manpower into repairing Maps as it takes. Since the data is all online, Apple can introduce fixes instantly as they're made, but "it's not going to change by Friday," says a product manager. That's because, in general, the fixes have to be made one at a time, by hand.

Although we are talking about a long process, those from Apple say that the system is built to be accessible online, changes can be implemented without iOS being updated, but all data will be checked manually, so updating them will take time. Apple has very large resources at its disposal, it can solve the problems of the Maps application, but we have to be patient in the meantime because the process will not end quickly, and maybe until the launch iOS 7 we will be able to use iOS Maps without too many problems in Romania.
