Here's how you can run the web version of Google Maps on the entire screen of your iDevice

The web version of Google Maps is currently a good way to benefit from the functions that Apple removed from iOS 6 when it stopped offering the Maps app, but unfortunately in Safari we don't have a great experience while using it. Maps are not displayed on the entire screen of iDevices, some users did not like this, but one person managed to modify the functionality of the Google Maps web application to work as in the image above. Practically, the modification requires the removal of the bar at the base of the Safari browser, so that the maps are displayed on the entire screen of our terminals.

To be able to use the web version of Google Maps in this way, you must have iOS 6 installed and you must install one of the profiles above. After installing the profile (if you are asked for a password, enter the security code of the iDevice, not the PIN) you will notice in the HomeScreen an icon called Maps. Pressing that icon will automatically open the web version of Google Maps in fullscreen mode and you can use it to locate yourself, find out locations, etc. Soon Google will also implement StreetView in Google Maps mobile, so this workaround might be useful.
