Orange Explorer wins the award for the best mobile application at Webstock and Internetics

Orange Explorer is an application developed by Orange Romania, which we told you about in July, and which recently won the award for Best Mobile Application and Best Mobile Campaign in the Online Media and Tools section of Internetics, as well as the second award for Best Mobile Application within Webstock. The application is built using augmented reality and it allows you to discover the first Romanian exhibition of graffiti in augmented reality in the subway, but in the Antipa museum it gives you the opportunity to view a 3D Mammoth on your smartphone, but also to interact with it.

The application was downloaded by more than 4800 people from the App Store and Google Play, it is still available for you and if you want to try it, you can do it anytime. Those from Orange deserve congratulations for the awards, but also for the creativity they showed in implementing the idea, this being a unique project in Romania, a project that demonstrated that augmented reality can be used in a creative way, a project that will not be forgotten soon. The whole project was organized by Orange together with the media agencies Initiative Media, Publicis and STANDOUT, the latter making it possible for me to participate in the presentation of the project and for that I thank them.
