Merge unifies messages from BiteSMS and Messages+ with those from the iOS Messages application

Go is a tweak launched a few weeks ago in Cydia and at the time of launch, we told you that they unify the messages sent by your contacts using various identifiers in the iOS Messages application. The tweak was and is highly appreciated, its developer updated it today, and now it also unifies the messages from BiteSMS si Messages +. Practically, after you do the update, you should find that all the messages received by you through these latest tweaks are visible in the Messages application, along with the others and are displayed next to the contacts who sent them.

  • Added support for third-party Messages clients (including biteSMS and Messages+ for IntelliScreenX)
  • Fixed a rare issue with a missing background when themes were used
  • Fixed an issue where switching between iMessage and SMS addresses would occasionally use the wrong service
  • Improved theming support (see Readme in /Library/Application Support/Merge/Merge.bundle for details)

Merge is available for $1.49 in Cydia, but is not compatible with iOS 6.
