Smart 3G automatically closes your 3G connection when you connect to a Wi-Fi network

Smart 3G is a tweak released during this night in Cydia, and with its help we can improve the battery autonomy of our iDevices, but we can also reduce the costs of the mobile phone subscription. The tweak allows us to disable both a 3G connection and a mobile operator data connection when we connect to a Wi-Fi network, it has a settings menu with two options: the first disables the connection as well 3G when we connect to Wi-Fi networks, and this helps us save energy, but the second only deactivates the mobile data connection.

Smart 3G is a tweak that allows you to save battery by disabling Data (and 3G) when you have a working WiFi connection (connected and internet is reachable). But immediately after losing or disabling the WiFi connection, Data (and 3G) will be turned back on to avoid losing your internet connection and receive important messages.

Smart 3G is designed in such a way that when we disconnect from a Wi-Fi network, it returns everything to its initial state, so we don't have to take any additional action. The bad part of the tweak is that an internet connection will be interrupted when switching from 2G to 3G, but if you are interested in autonomy and the cost of the internet, then you can get over this inconvenience. Smart 3G is available for $1.5 in Cydia's BigBoss repo.
