The Microsoft tablet will be made especially for gamers, it will have an Intel processor, RAM suitable for gaming and will run a special version of the Windows kernel. Basically, Microsoft does not want to offer something complex like iPad Mini or Google nexus 7, but a tablet specially made for gamers.
If Microsoft will not offer users the same experience that other tablets offer and will try to turn a console into a small tablet, then the final result cannot be good. The box dedicated to gamers is much narrower than the one in which the rest of the tablets are registered, the decision to develop such a product could turn out to be wrong, but Microsoft probably knows what it is doing.
