Week I presented you a video clip in which the Fusion Drive technology was tested by those from IGM, but a new video clip shows everything in more detail and offers us some speed tests. Basically, the Fusion Drive combines the technologies of SSD/HDDs to increase the response and write/read speed of Macs, and the results are close to those of SSDs. Of course you can opt to use an SSD in a Mac, but these products are expensive and generally users choose SSDs with medium to small storage space, and this is not always ideal.
