Scott Forstall is presented as the Apple employee who most resembled Steve Jobs

Scott Forstall was fired from the position of SVP of the iOS development team at Apple, is now an advisor to CEO Tim Cook and although some were not satisfied with the way the former SVP behaved, others praise him. According to some former important employees of Apple, Forstall was the SVP whose leadership style was closest to that of Steve Jobs, one of them having the courage to assign him the name "Mr. Apple" for the way he knew the company.

The word that worried me the most in the press release was in the first sentence. The word was "collaboration". Close your eyes and imagine a meeting with Steve Jobs. Imagine how it proceeds and how decisions are made. Does the word collaboration ever enter your mind? Not me. I'm just sitting there on pins and needles waiting for the guy to explode and rip us to shreds because we phoned it in on a seemingly unimportant icon.

Forstall was not loved at Apple, often having confrontations with other vice-presidents, but this characteristic brings him so close to Steve Jobs, the former CEO doing only what he wanted, without taking into account the opinions of others. It seems that Forstall worked the same way, many were not very happy with this style of management, but on the other hand some considered that Forstall is the successor that Steve Jobs should have left at the head of the company, but we all know that things they didn't stay like that.
