Foxconn intends to replace employees with automatic production lines

Foxconn has been intensely criticized in the last year for the way it treats its employees the solution to the problem it could mean giving them up. People are going to be replaced by over 30.000 robots, a third of the machines already arriving in one of Foxcoon's factories, the remaining 20.000 to be brought by the end of the year. The price of a robot is $20.000 - $25.000, more than 3 times higher than the annual salary of a single employee of the company, but we are talking about an investment for the future.

The implementation of these automatic production lines could improve the quality of the products, could improve the productivity and will certainly reduce the criticism directed at the company for the way it treats its employees. The changes at Foxconn will probably continue if the implementation of the 30.000 robots is successful, but 1.2 million people work in all Foxconn factories, and their replacement will not happen quickly.
