Samsung claims that Apple infringes its patents through the text to speech system in iOS

Apple's iOS has implemented a system that allows users to ask their iDevices to read all the text available on the screen. This system is very useful especially for people who have visual impairments, many people are satisfied with it, except for Samsung which says Apple infringes some patents. Those from Samsung detail in a lawsuit request how the implementation made by Apple violates technologies that belong to them, and of course a whole legal dispute will be based on this.

For Apple, the text to speech system is very important, the company helping fans to overcome their physical deficiencies in using iDevices. It seems that Samsung has little chance of convincing a court that these technologies must lead to the imposition of an order prohibiting the sale of iDevices, but in the US anything is possible.
