Yota – the first smartphone with two screens (Video)

Yota is a Russian company from which we have the first smartphone equipped with two screens, an LCD and an e-ink mounted instead of a normal case. The LCD works exactly as you would expect, but the e-ink lacks the functionality of a touchscreen, still displaying information from applications (tweets, notifications, texts), wallpapers, calendar entries , etc., but everything boils down only to their display and not to any possible interaction. Basically, the e-ink screen can only be used to display any kind of images or information, you cannot control the operating system through it, so we are talking about limited utility.

Although the implementation of an e-ink screen in a smartphone with two faces is not a brilliant idea, the first terminals with two touchscreens will certainly arouse the interest of users.
