Yesterday I told you that Tim Cook was on the shortlist of personalities nominated for the title of person of the year, awarded annually by Time Magazine. Today the Time editorial team decided which personality deserves the prize, Barack Obama won, and the CEO of Apple took the 3rd position. The editors of Time Magazine made the decision based on the impact that Obama had on the population of the globe and of course that his title will be contested by many.
Just as many people contested the inclusion of Tim Cook in the Time Magazine shortlist, and probably some are right, but Apple products have influenced a lot of people and Tim Cook deserves to be praised for the good year he had at had Apple.
