iPhone cases that simulate the functionality of a gamepad have become extremely popular lately, with many projects being announced, but not yet finished. Join them now flipside, the project an iPhone case that promises to give users the ability to control games using physical buttons. The case has the physical buttons located in a special compartment, they must be mounted on the front of the terminal when you play.
Flipside is a protective iPhone case that has gaming controls (for the serious gamer) integrated into the back of the case. When used, you unsnap parts of the back of the case and attach it to the front. iDevices contacted Apple on my behalf and we are happy to announce that Apple is not only going to support us, but willing to devote a team to making sure that this controller works perfectly with Apple iOS devices!
Basically, this case gives you the option to hide the buttons when you don't need them and the option to display them when you want to play, it being probably the only one with these capabilities. The case connects via Bluetooth 4.0 to iDevices, is charged using solar energy and seems to include Apple support, the company being willing to assign a team to work with Flipside developers to ensure compatibility with iDevices.

Flipside is currently a Kickstarter project, it hasn't gotten much of the money it needs, but there's still time.
