BlueStacks allows Mac owners to run over 750.000 applications in OS X

  BlueStacks is a program for OS X that allows Mac owners to run over 750.000 Android applications on their computers. The program is currently only available in beta version, so there is a possibility that some errors may appear during the run, but most of the users who tested it were pleasantly impressed by its performance. versions released now it gives users access to all applications from Google Play, so basically you can run anything you want on Mac, but the performance depends on the Mac and the user experience depends on the application.

Bluestacks' virtualizes Android to run the platform's mobile apps, similar to how VMWare lets you run a virtualized version of desktop operating systems. The company calls its patent-pending virtualization technology Layercake, and it's also partnered up with Asus and AMD to bring Android apps to their devices.
