If you have an Apple TV 2 and you have jailbroken it, then you will probably be interested in installing nitoTV and maybe XMBC. Until today you could do this using nito Installer for Mac OS X, but a version for Windows OS is now available and you can do the entire procedure including from this operating system. First you need to jailbreak the Apple TV, but after completing this procedure you will be able to use nito Installer to install nitoTV, XMBC and run various commands.
You can download nito Installer for Windows following this link. I come back and tell you that this program does not jailbreak Apple TVs and cannot be used on Apple TVs that have not been jailbroken.
