Apple reduces the prices of Thunderbolt cables, launches a new model

Last night, Apple made the decision to reduce the prices of Thunderbolt cables sold in its own stores, the 2-meter version being now available at the price of $39, instead of the $49 it cost before. Apart from this price reduction, those from Apple launched a new version of the Thunderbolt cable, this one having a length of only 0.5 meters and being available, not at a quarter of the price, but at the price of $29, so we are talking about a $10 discount on a cable that is only a quarter of length.

Both cables are available for purchase in Apple stores in the US. Unfortunately, there were no price reductions in Europe and the short version is not available.
