Mobi-Lens – a useful accessory for those who often use their iDevices to record photos

Mobi-Lens it is an accessory for our iDevices, and not only that, allowing us to improve or substantially modify the quality of the pictures. I'm talking about one clip-on accessory with removable lenses, the respective lenses having either the role of improving the quality of the photos, or the role of modifying the way we take them. The developers of the project have made for iDevices, iPhones or tablets, wide-angle lenses, fisheye lenses and macro lenses, all compatible with the clip-on, all of which can be attached/detached extremely easily.

Mobi-Lens simply clips onto your device, kind of like a chip bag clip or a clothespin, and you can adjust it accordingly to match up with the camera lens and fit properly with the width of various devices, from tables to smartphones (*camera frame may vary on some devices if used with a case — it is recommended to use Mobi-Lens without a case on the device for best picture results). Mobi-Lens is strong enough to clamp onto your device so that it will securely stay in place, yet it is gentle enough to prevent any damage to your device. Mobi-Lens also comes equipped with protective lens caps to keep lenses clean and free of scratches when not in use. Although the wide angle/macro lens and the fisheye lens have separate clips, they can easily be switched in a matter of seconds to suit your picture-taking preference. Its convenient design and nifty size make Mobi-Lens easy to carry on the go so that you have accessibility to awesome effects anytime, anywhere!

Unlike the applications that perform the same functionality, this accessory saves us from the photo editing process, which anyway partially reduces the quality of the images recorded by us. Mobi-Lens is a Kickstarter project that was successfully funded and has now been presented at CES 2013, with the company's products available for purchase available here at prices starting with $40.
