Apple is preparing support for 4k resolutions or a new type of Retina Display

Ryan Petrich, the developer of many tweaks and applications for Cydia, published recently on Twitter that Apple intends to produce a screen "super retina” for future products. The assumption comes after the constant discovery of a code that indicates that Apple's future software will have support for resolutions 2 times higher than those in Retina Displays. In practice, we are talking about resolutions slightly higher than those 4k and we are either talking about a 4k Ultra TV developed by Apple, or a possible iMac with Retina Display.

Although for now no one knows why Apple would need such resolutions, speculations can be made until the product is launched, and based on the code it seems that something very interesting awaits us in the future.
