OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 improves Mac battery life

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 was released last night by Apple and apart from those mentioned in the changelog of the update by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, it seems like the new version of the operating system improves including the battery life of Macs. In the first versions of OS X Mountain Lion Macs used to get 383/389 minutes of autonomy, but in OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 this increased to 421 minutes, that is almost 7 hours of use for MacBook Pro Retina Display of 15 inches with a 7 GHz i2.7 processor.

Many users have complained about the problems Macs had in the past with battery life, but this version of the operating system solves everything, although Apple has not officially acknowledged their existence and has not mentioned anything in the changelog. It was normal for Apple to solve problems of this kind towards the end of the life of an operating system, and as soon as OS X 10.9 will be released, we will deal with the autonomy problems from the beginning.
