TransparentCameraBar changes the way the control menu of the Camera application is displayed

TransparentCameraBar is a tweak released during this evening in Cydia, and with its help we can make the menu transparent with the help of which we can start recording a video clip/record photos/switch from photo to video mode. The tweak has a settings menu in the Settings application of iOS, and there we can set the opacity that the menu will have, and the layer set for that menu is also applied to the preview of pictures/films in the Camera Roll, so the low opacity will makes it almost impossible to distinguish elements from the Camera Roll.

How does it work?

  1. Set Camera Bottom Bar opacity from 0.0 (Hidden) to 1.0 (System default)
  2. If opacity is not equal to 1.0, Camera view Full screen sizes will be applied. (Check screenshot)
  3. This is really needed in 4-inch Tall iDevices, iPod 5G & iPhone 5 so you have more preview space.

Tested in iOS 6 only.

TransparentCameraBar was only tested on iOS 6 and works only with iPhone 5 or iPod Touch 5G. The tweak is available for free in the repo BigBoss al Cydia.
