PPSSPP is the first emulator PSP for the platform iOS and this week I told you that a version will be available for installation directly in your terminals. Well that version can now be installed via Cydia, and after installation you will be able to use games that normally you could only install on one PSP. To install the emulator you just have to follow the steps below, but you will have to purchase the games yourself and transfer them to your terminals.

  1. Open Cydia on your iDevice and add the source: cydia.myrepospace.com/theavenger.
  2. Access the packages available in that source and install the PPSSPP package.
  3. To copy games to your iDevice, you must connect to it using ifunbox, or another favorite utility, and access it /var/mobile/Documents.
  4. In that file you have to copy the PSP games in .ISO or .CSO format, then open the application from the iDevice, press the Load button, choose the game and you will be able to play it.

After the installation is finished, you will be able to access the application icon from Springboard, but unfortunately you will not be able to play anything unless you manage to get PSP games in the appropriate format and copy it to the terminal. There is a possibility that you won't be able to play every PSP game, so you better get used to this idea.
