At the presentation, the iPhone 5 generated more buzz on Twitter than the Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung Galaxy S4 was presented this year by the Koreans from Samsung, and the device enjoyed quite a lot of popularity, although HTC One- the Taiwanese seems to be better positioned in the top of consumers' preferences. Regarding attention received by Samsung Galaxy S 4, a study reveals that on the day of the presentation the terminal generated 5 times less buzz on Twitter than iPhone 5. Comparing the presentation days of the two terminals, an American company came to the conclusion that iPhone 5 generated 2.4 million tweets, while Samsung Galaxy S4 only 440.000.

We believe a Twitter analysis of tweets about the iPhone 5 launch compared to the Galaxy S4 launch demonstrates that the iPhone continues to hold more mass appeal with consumers. We believe this demonstrates that while interest in the Galaxy S4 is growing, Apple continues to hold a meaningful lead as the smartphone with the broadest consumer appeal.

Of the 2.4 million tweets about the iPhone 5, 73% were positive, and of the 440.000 about Samsung Galaxy S 4, 81% were positive. You could say that the Samsung terminal won at least in this chapter, but considering the very big difference between the tweets, you would be wrong. The success of the iPhone on Twitter may also be related to the fact that the Samsung terminal was presented at a late hour in many countries around the world, unlike the iPhone which was presented when many people were still active.
