iOS 7 could be jailbroken by p0sixninja with the help of exploits discovered in recent months

evasi0n was the first and will remain the only solution untethered jailbreak for iOS 6, but for iOS 7 we might have a solution of jailbreak sooner than I thought. Apart from the hackers from Evad3rs which have a solution of jailbreak functional and ready for that version of iOS, the hacker p0sixninja announced that he discovered some new exploits in the last months and could develop the future jailbreak solution himself. P0sixninja is one of the former members of the Chronic Dev Team, he has the necessary knowledge to develop a jailbreak solution and it remains to be seen if he will keep his word.

So far the hacker has not provided details about his exploits and probably will not, but as soon as iOS beta 7 1 will be launched, we will find out if everything he prepared can be used.

  1. I think that a gate is intentionally left for jailbreak because it also contributes to iPhone sales, especially with the new rival phones.

  2. 🙂 maybe this is also the goal for the people from Apple to do the best they can, and for the hacker to come up with an even better exploit for IOS 7. In the next version of 7.X, the people from Apple will solve the vulnerability against the exploit…..and so on….

  3. I don't understand where they got these exploits since ios7 was not even released in beta version.
I personally think that these guys have a more underground collaboration like with those from Apple.
I'm really curious, do you have an opinion?

  4. colleague from above, yes, who did you hear talking about jb at 6.1.3? there is one, but it is tethered, so untethered will not be until ios 7, that's for sure, and as far as I know, the topic is closed by jb untethered above 6.1.2

  5. There are vulnerabilities found in ios 6.1.3... Apple has no way to know what vulnerability was found to fix, but you can't be sure that that vulnerability will remain in ios 7, that's why we will know exactly when the first one is released beta!

  6. exactly vali, I asked myself the same question, by the way, they have a jaikbreak solution for the next update to the newest one, but they are not able to solve the current one, WTF seems like something is in the middle or they just have control from within the company 🙂

  7. Those guys say that they already have exploits for iOS 7 because they found these exploits in iOS 6 and, in case they are not solved by Apple in iOS 7, these exploits will be used in the next released software
