i0n1c, the hacker who discovered the exploits based on which the solutions were developed jailbreak for iOS 4.1.x, presents today via Twitter some interesting information about the system AirPlay Mirroring from iDevices. He says that any person could leave you without your security code, or without other data, if they activate this function by asking you to make a phone call. Practically when you activate AirPlay Mirroring on an iDevice you transfer the screen to an external screen and whatever you do on the terminal screen can be seen by anyone else on the external screen.
Of course, the procedure is not simple and requires the proximity of the iDevice to one Apple TV for everything to work, but theoretically everything is possible. i0n1c argues that Apple should require the use of a passcode to activate AirPlay Mirroring on terminals that have set such a code, but it is unlikely that Apple will do this, although the company could seriously increase the security of iOS in this way.
