Apple is about to launch an important application that works based on an Internet connection

Following discussions with the members of Apple's management team, a Morgan Stanley analyst believes that Apple going to launch an important application that would work based on an Internet connection. It is speculated that it would be about the service iRadio, or about an application focused on making mobile payments, but for now no one knows exactly what Apple has planned. It is clear that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would charge developers or users for these services, the freemium model being brought into discussion.

"We believe Apple could charge either developers or users for some of these services, which could boost Apple's annuitized revenue stream and better monetize its large user base," Huberty writes. "For example, Apple could offer a streaming music service using a freemium model." Freemium apps allow users to download and use certain titles for free, with costs recovered through advertisements or in-app purchases. Sometimes these apps offer to remove ads for a certain price.

Separately from this application, Apple would launch new internet services most likely based on iCloud, Eddy Cue currently working on improving the iCloud system, but also Apple Maps. The WWDC in June of this year would be the location where Apple could present its new services, but it is unlikely that until then we will find out exactly what Tim Cook has prepared for the clients of the company he leads.
