Romanians buy applications worth 1 million euros every month

These days in Bucharest there is an event dedicated to the mobile market, and in its framework a representative of Breeze Mobile made an interesting statement for which it seems that there is no public data or any kind of support, at least for now. According to Dan Vârtopeanu, managing partner within Breeze Mobile, in Romania one million euros are spent per month for the purchase of applications for mobile terminals, and in the article for those from ZF, there are no details regarding a division on platforms, etc.

Given that Apple does not provide any details about the receipts from each country and Google does the same, I am very curious how such a figure was reached and what these statements are based on. It is not excluded that the information is true, but considering the small number of Romanian developers and the impossibility of even accessing the App Store, which sells the most globally, I am extremely curious to find out what the basis of the information is . Of course, it is unlikely to provide exact data, but it is worth asking for.

Apart from applications, it seems that 1 million smartphones were sold in Romania last year, with a value of 250 million euros.
