48 billion applications were installed through Google Play, 900 million Android terminals were activated

At the moment Google is the host of the opening keynote of Google I/O, an annual conference dedicated to developers. During the conference, it was announced that 900 million Android terminals have been activated so far, and they have installed 48 billion applications. If we look at Apple that is celebrating the fact that 50 billion applications have been downloaded from its App Store, we notice that the difference between the two virtual application stores is very small.

Of course Apple talks about downloads and Google about installations, Apple only takes into account the unique downloads of an application and I assume that Google does the same, so there should be no problems from this point of view. If we take into account the enormous growth of Android in recent years, today's announcement is as logical as possible and soon Google Play will surpass the App Store in terms of the number of downloads.

  1. Which applications??? There you can find more wallpaper and cheats for iOS games :))))
I went in yesterday to play the Hay Day game and the surprise! Cheats and wallpapers of the game on hard but the game itself was missing :)))))

  2. @Dani L.: just don't expect all iOS applications to be available on Android. You have no idea about the Play Store if you make such statements.

  3. @Dani L the game was missing in google play because you have a device incompatible with it, not to say oboist... For this reason you will not find the applications incompatible with the devices on which they are searched. to install it again. Consequently, it exists, even if you don't see it...

  4. @Blade – if the HTC One X Plus is old.... what can I say... 🙂
@GF – the idea was that I couldn't find the game but cheats for it yes 🙂

  5. Yes, you can find cheats, but there are games and applications that are not compatible with all devices, and that's why you don't see them, that's how their system sorts them.

  6. According to some people, all applications on one OS must be available on all OSes. On this logic, if OS X does not have all the games on Windows, does it mean that it is a weak OS?
And for the problem of unverified applications, we are talking about movies.

  7. The game Hay Day does not exist in the Play Store, it has not been ported to Android, it is only for iOS. Search on Google and see that it's an iTunes cayrey link, not for Play Store.
