This week I spoke to you for the first time about Semi Restore, a solution that said it can perform a partial restore the terminals jailbroken, even if they have iOS 6.x installed on it. I told you from the beginning that the solution could be fake and that you shouldn't get your hopes up, but it seems that it is legitimate and works exactly as the developers say. More precisely, using SemiRestore you can makes a partial re-restore to the version of iOS that you have installed in your terminal jailbroken, regardless of the terminal and regardless of the iOS version installed, the condition being that the device is jailbroken.
Practically if you have one iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5, a tablet iPad 2/3/4/Mini or iPod Touch, You iOS 5.0 - iOS 6.1.2 and you already have the jailbroken terminal, then you will be able to do a partial restore ONLY to the version you have in the terminal and without using SHSH. Non-jailbroken terminals cannot use SemiRestore, no matter what version of iOS they have, and if your terminal does not fall within the previously mentioned limits, then the solution will not work in any way, so don't bother asking.
Good, you are "qualified" to restore, now you are probably wondering what exactly is happening. Well, the procedure of Semi Restore deletes almost everything you have in iDevices: applications from App Store and the information from them, plus most of the tweaks from Cydia, excluding the application Cydia, iFile and the jailbreak. Practically SemiRestore it does not do a complete restore, it does not delete all the data, it leaves some of them, but before using the solution it is advisable to make a backup of all the data because you will have to copy them back to the terminals.
