During this evening Tim Cook announced that 900.000 applications are available in the company's App Store, 10 billion dollars have been paid to application developers and 50 billion downloads have been generated in the almost 5 years of the App Store. Until now, Apple has collected 575 million Apple IDs and the revenues generated by its platform represent three quarters generated by the virtual application stores.
