A new Orange Care service: online booking of the desired product from the Orange shop
Bucharest, July 3. Orange Romania is launching the online reservation service for the first time on the telecommunications market in Romania. It is addressed to those who want to make sure that they will find the desired product in stock when they arrive in the Orange shop.
The service is available to all Orange customers who have an account on www.orange.ro. In addition, those who are not Orange customers, but create an account on the website www.orange.ro, they can use the online booking service, and then go to the store to pick up the product.
To reserve a phone, laptop or tablet online, customers access the online store on www.orange.ro , select the desired product and choose the "see Orange store stock and reserve the product" option to check the stock in the chosen store. If the product is in stock, you must press the "reserve" button and, after confirming the product, pay a reservation fee of 50 lei, VAT included. After booking, the customer receives by e-mail a voucher with the same value, valid for 90 days. The voucher can be used to pay for the reserved product or later, in any Orange shop, for another type of product: phone, laptop, tablet, modem, accessory or PrePay SIM card. The chosen product is reserved for 72 hours from the moment of payment.
Currently, the following services are part of the Orange Care portfolio: Orange Expert, Call forwarding in case of emergency, SIM Agenda Back-up, Content transfer, Buy-Back for mobile phones, Backup Kit, , Insurance for phone, modem and tablet and the services offered through the Care Center.
"Time is more and more important for each of us. That is why, in order to help customers to optimize the time allocated to their visit to the Orange shop, we are now supplementing the online appointment service, offered to customers since 2011, with the online product reservation service.
Through the new service, we want to provide our customers with a simple and efficient way to make purchases from Orange stores, with the certainty that they will be able to pick up the product when they come to the store." said Adina Măntăilă, Distribution Development Project Manager at Orange Romania.
