Apple is preparing the launch of iPad 5 with new design, improved autonomy and iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display

According to everything rumored so far, a Taiwanese publication says that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it will be released in the fall iPad 5 with a completely modified design, with better autonomy and a tablet iPad Mini 2, which could come without Retina Display. The new design of iPad 5 would reduce the black edges of the screen to artificially "increase" the information viewing space, but separate from it the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), decided to give up one of the LEDs that illuminate the screen, this change following to improve the 10-hour autonomy that the tablet offers.

In addition to the Retina Display, the new tablet features a slimmer bezel design to allow a bigger viewing area, while the number of LED tubes used for the device has been reduced from two to one, and battery longevity is also improved. Although suppliers have not yet received a firm mass production schedule from Apple and are mainly shipping products for pilot production, the sources pointed out that pilot production is already able to satisfy demand for the initial launch. Therefore, the sources expect Apple to give its shipment estimates at the end of July or early August.

Regarding iPad Mini 2, Apple has not yet decided whether it will implement a Retina Display, and the addition of such a component could delay the launch for the end of this year. In terms of design, the Apple company is trying to almost completely remove the black edge of the screen to offer users a tablet with a design similar to that offered by competing Android smartphones, the lack of bezels on the edges giving the impression of a larger screen big, something that is also tried in the case iPad 5.

As for the new 7.9-inch iPad mini, the sources pointed out that Apple is still considering whether to adopt a Retina Display for the device, and if the company decides to do so, the product's release may be delayed until the end of the fourth quarter.

The iPad 5 is ready for a launch that would take place in September, but the iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display could arrive on the market only in the winter.
