The iPhone 5S could allow the recording of video content at 120 frames per second

In the WWDC 2013 those of the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), have announced that they will offer users the opportunity to record video content at 60 frames per second, but inside the system files of iOS 7 was discovered something even greater. It seems that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is currently testing an option that would allow users to record video content at 120 frames per second, and in the video clip above you have a demonstration of how such a recording looks. By practically recording video clips at such a high framerate, we manage to capture "in slow motion" everything that happens in front of the lens, something that iPhones do not offer natively for now.

Other smartphones have similar functions, even for several years, but Apple intends to offer iDevice owners the same thing, but probably improved. The possibility to record video at 120 FPS it could be one of the important functions that Apple could emphasize when it presents and then launches iPhone 5S, but for now no one knows for sure if the function will be present in the final version of iOS 7. In general, Apple tests functions of this kind before implementing them in IDevices, but not in all cases they end up being used.
