In iOS 7 Apple has implemented a new interface for application folders in Springboard, but what we see now is being tested by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for 3 years. The company has experienced in iOS 4 with a similar interface for its folders, and in the image above you can see it, it being taken from a prototype of a iPhone 4 of those in Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. In 3 years, Apple managed to find a better way to display applications inside folders, and there are probably many other elements of iOS 7 which were tested in old versions of iOS, but implemented only now by the company.
