Apple invites users to test iWork for iCloud for free

iWork for iCloud is part of iCloud Beta, an ecosystem accessible, in theory, only to iOS application developers. In the desire to give all users access to this system, those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), allow logging into it using anything Apple ID, but this is what I told you a few weeks ago. In order to bring the information to the attention of those who did not know yet, Apple sent invitations during these days asking users to access the beta version of iCloud to test the iWork for iCloud suite before the official launch.

iWork for iCloud is actually the web version of the Pages, Numbers and Keynote applications, they will offer users the opportunity to benefit from their functionality on any operating system. The applications for iOS will be offered free of charge as soon as iWork for iCloud will become public, and the systems will interact to display in iDevices all the changes in the web applications.

We'll soon be introducing a new and exciting feature to iCloud. It's called iWork for iCloud and it's a suite of apps — Pages, Numbers, and Keynote — that make it easy for anyone with an iCloud account to create and edit great-looking documents, spreadsheets, and presentations right on the web.

We'd like to invite you to be one of the first to try it, so we're giving you early access to the iWork for iCloud beta. All you have to do is sign in to iCloud on a Mac or a PC using the current version of Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. Then just click on Pages, Numbers, or Keynote and you're off.

We're really proud of these apps and we'd appreciate your help in making them as great as they can possibly be. So we'd love to hear your feedback as you use them.

Sincerely,

The iWork Team
